End Grain Oak & Walnut Cutting Board
Celebrate the beauty of eco-conscious woodworking with our handmade butcher block, end-grain and Japanese Ki boards.
Both Walnut and Oak are known for their durability and resistance to wear, providing your kitchen with a sturdy surface for chopping and cutting. Walnut and Oak are excellent for end grain boards as they are gentle on a knife’s delicate edge, preventing excessive dulling while also making a superb serving platform due to their unique, aesthetically pleasing patterns.
Each butcher block, end-grain and Japanese Ki board is crafted with the most visually unique pieces of excess lumber we have after making our chairs and tables, minimizing our environmental footprint by supporting our sustainability project.
Rather than over-refining our boards, we prefer to embrace the natural beauty and character of our lumber by leaving natural imperfections that do not compromise the function or form of the piece.
We craft our boards using 100% excess materials created while building our heirloom furniture pieces. We only use domestic hardwood for our boards, making the most of the surplus materials available to us.

As all of our furniture is handmade to order, you can expect a 3-5 week lead time.
Dust regularly with a soft, lint-free cloth. Use a mild soap solution for stubborn dirt, wiping gently along the wood grain.
Avoid harsh chemicals, ammonia-based cleaners, and excess water. Dry immediately with a clean, dry cloth after cleaning.
